good company; easy to work for. Benefits could be better.
Pros
Good experience, good people. Have worked for several defense contractors as a SETA and KBR is the easiest from an administrative standpoint as far as billing, training, travel approvals and having to attend minimal corporate events . Took a little advocacy from people who know me, but they gave me the salary I asked for and have been great with allowing flexible hours (with agreement from the customer).
Cons
Benefits just barely hit the bar. They are going to have increasing trouble attracting millennials and gen z, esp in big cities like the DC area where Amazon Web Services and similar companies are grabbing all the top talent. KBR should be offering more parental leave coverage, more leave, better severance package if you're laid off due to lack of contract coverage (only 1 week, I just read in the handbook!)
