      They really embellished quite a bit about the job in the interview but the reality is that you are just a "paper pusher" that manages other contractors. Engineers that want to become managers may see a benefit. The Aerospace Corp contractors (they will say they are not contractors but they are... according to their website: "The Aerospace Corporation is a prime contractor of the federal government.") do not work well with other contractors. As a former Aerospace employee, they are told by upper management to remark negatively against other contractors (mostly in private to the government officials/officers) any chance they get so that they can hire more Aerospace employees. This greatly hinders SpRCO's mission and the camaraderie in the workplace.
