Hi there, I love to read that your job is exciting. Can't do anything about a distance between office and downtown. Sorry about that! Alena Reva

Pros

Good product and innovation. Hard working people. Laziness is not tolerated.

Cons

Russian culture pronounced in the company. All decisions are taking from Moscow. A global outlook, but unitary decision making. Ongoing company reconstruction seems not be well managed. Non-Russian workers are looking for a way out of the company. No job security. You could be fired the next day you resume.

Thank you for appreciating our people and products. I'm sorry you've left the company. In Dubai, we have employees of more than ten nationalities represented in equal proportion, and none of them is given any preference. Continuous change is an essential part of our business worldwide with the focus on increasing efficiency and value for our customers. Wherever we see the need for improvement - we go for it. I would appreciate more details on diversity and inclusion issues from you. Please, shoot me an e-mail or contact via Linkedin. Alena Reva

Fantastic company with confused management

Pros

The quality of people at Kaspersky Lab is second to none. Eugene makes a point of maintaining a strong engineering culture, where innovation flourishes. The dedication and expertise of Kaspersky employees easily beats that of Google and Amazon or anyone else. The products and technologies are great, often cutting-edge, the company spirit is high. Employees are generally looked after, cherished and rewarded generously. There is a lot of buzz and fun, and the employees play as hard as they work! The culture is as close as it can be to a start-up, and there is a lot of "can-do."

Cons

Company management is slightly lost in the modern competitive security market and seems to be somewhat behind the curve with their vision. Their technology is fantastic, but their ability to communicate their technological superiority is limited. Eugene is extremely charismatic, and although he has good reasons not to trust people, even his seemingly closest allies, it is difficult to deny that the consumer and even corporate endpoint will not sustain the company for much longer, as demonstrated by their financial results. The career opportunities outside of Moscow office are limited.

Thank you for appreciating our stellar people, they are indeed our greatest asset. We haven't perfectly nailed strategy management just yet, that is true. But that is currently a problem for the whole cyber security market. Due to political turmoils around the globe, many unexpected players shape the market in unexpected ways. We are working on plays to ensure we propel inclusiveness, so if you have any interest in sending Louise Brunhoj or me your thoughts on specific actionable solutions on this, would love to hear them. Thank you for your input, your review, and your pushes. Alena Reva
