Pros

Globally competitive organization, certainly with critical, timely and needed products and services as technology becomes more pervasive - and hackers and alike become more sophisticated.

Cons

Project management is mediocre at best. People tend to pass the buck or deflect what they don't know or can't (or won't) answer. More collaboration is needed on efforts to build, enhance and integrate various major systems inside the organization. My "professional development" hasn't been whispered or discussed by my manager nor do I think he's interested in the topic.

Thanks for the feedback, and sorry to hear that your experience fell short of your expectations and frankly of what we expect for ourselves and for our employees. While I know that working in a global cross-functional team located in more than 4 different time zone is quite challenging, I do want to actively make sure that there isn't a gap between what our people expect from their managers and peers across the globe and their every day experience, so would love to hear from you more specifics on where we can improve there if you're up for a conversation on this one - we are constantly looking for ways to improve every part of the candidate and employee experience, so anytime you're up for a conversation, I'd welcome it. Great Company

Pros

I’ve had many opportunities to progress within my time at Kaspersky, all of which have provided me with valuable experience. There's a great working environment within the London office and a lot of friendly, intelligent colleagues. Kaspersky provided me with my first job after graduating and for that and all I have mentioned above, I will always consider the company in high regard.

Cons

HQ's attitude to certain aspects of the business is sometimes backwards and input is often ignored. The work life balance isn't the greatest due to the high workloads.

Dynamic structure, digitally forward

Pros

Like any large global corporate the structure is a combination of matrix (global) and flat hierarchy (local). The work force is passionate, diverse and focused as well as being great to socialise with. Yes there is a cultural bias given when the business was founded, however this inherent in all organisations and is the rule as opposed to the exception - something that's embraced.

Cons

Previously regional strategies and now being rolled up into a unified global focus, therefore less of a 'con' and more of a by product of change management. Digitally speaking the changes put Kaspersky at the forefront of the market, changing from a business built from the ground up to one that thinks and acts top down - that in itself is a process.
