Pros

The restaurant food Payroll A handful of people from these departments: Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales All the reception, post room and restaurant staff Mill workers Lower and middle employees who have a personality and an approachable attitude about them (although this will slowly be drained out of them).

Cons

People that work exceptionally hard but go unnoticed. Saying the right things instead of doing the right things will get you promoted. It's not what you know, it's who you know. Too much in-house promotion. There are other people outside of Kimberly Clark. Senior HR - petrified of standing up for the under dog or disagreeing with anyone on the Leadership Team. Completely unapproachable and lacks empathy or any kind of genuine behaviour. Out of date and stone age career development programme. Positive feedback goes unnoticed but negative feedback conveniently gets picked up on and never forgotten. Employees being taken for granted. The eggshells we have to walk on - they're still there as soon as you walk through the main entrance and haven't been cleared up despite my requests. Increase in workload that goes unnoticed. Please update job descriptions to acknowledge extra work and responsibility.

Pros

The people have a great work ethic and genuinely care about doing well. The company provides decent benefits and also can be very flexible with hours and working from home.

Cons

HR policies create significant non-value-added work and do not reward experience - excessive requirements for documenting annual job performance, cookie-cutter approaches to 1:1's and anything related to performance, forced ranking promotes scarcity of rewards versus having a culture where there is an over abundance of reward for doing well; incentive for making more money is not based on performance, rather it is based on getting promotions; team leaders and management often have no experience in their department and have no clue or appreciation for what their employees do which seems very counter intuitive to cultivating a successful management structure and establishing highly enabled and engaged workers.
