Pros

The colleagues and location. I'm not sure what else to say!

Cons

KC has gradually gone down hill. When I joined nearly 10 years ago it was a place where I'd look forward to coming in to every day. You could have a laugh with your colleagues whilst still going above and beyond and getting all of your work done. Gradually people were pushed out of the business, attitudes changed, the sense of community diminished and the office became filled with temps due to cost cuttings. I would have once recommended working at KC however, you only get far and further your career here if you get close and friendly with management. Overtime is expected, however unpaid. Called in to work on my day off and didn't feel I could say no. This was never even recognised!

Pros

Great office space. Good peers

Cons

lack of leadership. Poor salaries. HR Department was an "enemy" instead of help employees.

Cons

I have been working for Kimberly-Clark for over 8 years. I "survived" 3 redundancies and re-structure and outsourcings. The plan was to outsource all customer service and credit control to Bucharest in 2015...to make sure they wouldn't have to pay too much compensation the management was advised to bully people out of the company. I know several people who have been bullied out before the outsource in October 15, I was one of them. The management bullied me so much, that I left on my own terms. They even had compensation payments budget in case someone takes them to court because of bullying. It was once a great place to work, but the management made it one of the worst in Brighton. People with zero knowledge were moved up the ladder in a race, whereas the knowledgable ones were bullied out. I have never seen something like it in my whole working carrier. I am surprised that they are able to get through with that. And I just noticed that after outsourcing everything, they employ temp people to help out with Credit Control...I guess the outsourcing doesn't work that well.....
