Forcing Turnover

Pros

Smart employees, good brands, reputable CPG

Cons

Everything changed after the move from Neenah to Chicago. People are inappropriate and rude in meetings, work long hours, and multiple surprise performance improvement plans completely out of nowhere means lots of turnover.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your recognition of our smart employees, strong brands, and reputation in the CPG industry. However, we are concerned to hear about the issues following the move from Neenah to Chicago, including inappropriate behavior in meetings, long working hours, and unexpected performance improvement plans. We understand the impact these issues can have on employee morale and turnover. Your advice about the need for strong leadership is valuable, and we are committed to addressing these challenges to create a more supportive and respectful work environment. Thank you for your input.

No right to work

Business Outlook

Pros

I worked at the Coldspring facility in Neenah, WI. Hourly rate is pretty good for entry level.

Cons

Mill workers are treated like second class citizens. There is absolutely no trust. Even though Wisconsin is a Right to Work state you likely won't be kept on after 90 days here if you don't join the union.

KCP Became a Company I No Longer Recognized

Pros

Good medical and dental benefits, 401(k)

Cons

With the exception of a small handful of truly decent human beings, Sales leadership at Kimberly-Clark Professional has always been run by the Band of Brothers who came up together, promote each other, and who are complicit. If you do not fit in with that inner circle, you are constantly striving to prove why you deserve to be there. You are only as good as your last big sale. And that often seems to be not enough. If you are fortunate to have one of the 2 or 3 district team leaders who truly cares about the human and not just the numbers in the spreadsheet and that knows how to coach and mentor, your opportunities are logarithmically enhanced.
