Pros

I enjoyed the work. I worked third shift and overall it was busy work, but not to difficult of you were working out front.

Cons

The training and interview process was tedious. You have to sit through 15 hours of training videos before you get into the store. My store was understaffed so I had one day of training for both up front and in the kitchen and then they threw me to the wolves. With the kitchen it was terrible, there was far to much to do and not enough time, it was basically 8 hours of stress, everyone hates the kitchen. I also ran into bullying, the two people I ended up working with at night hated me and one in particular would be really mean, she would always snap at me and yell and get frustrated to a ridiculous degree, others would see it as well. I tried talking to management and we had a meeting, which went fine for two days. I changed every behavior that she didn't like, but two days later there was a set of new problems, it was clear that she was projecting and there was nothing I could do.

Pros

Employees on the same power rung are great and down to Earth.

Cons

Like all companies, you "believe" in the doctrine and praise all those above to gain favor and advancement. If dont believe and put ona show every day yo wont last. The advertising is that its a 'fun', fast-pace environment. No, frustrating face-paced is more appropriate. By either coworkers failing to do their job (lazy) or just short staffed, sick etc - others have to pick up the pace and then get an earful if they didnt complete their work on time. Kwik Trip operates by the numbers so they can hit the sales and budgets in order to build and expand to be everywhere. New buildings have space for sales, older ones way too small for how they want to operate. You the employee wont be living well. Your wage is low, your benefits lacking for the cost of living...So you get a bonus check at the end of the year - you will be using that to pay the bills you couldnt all year round. Kwik Trip is open every day all year round so no Holidays for you.

Pros

work schedule is great runs Thursdays to Thursdays end of the year bonus

Cons

its not worth spending more then 2 years here if you are not an assistant manager or manager, it is very hard to move up. They always hire outside the company to fill leadership roles rather then seeking with in first. If you are a food-service leader you are pretty much stuck there and used and abused. Pay is okay starting off but they sometimes don't give you raises like you should get. For example a worker is suppose to give you a raise after 6 months as a normal co-worker and 9 months as a leadership co-worker but they only give it to select few and tell others that their date of review is to close to yearly raises even if its 4 months away... Some employees are straight up snot bags, if you don't have a good boss and co-workers good luck. Problems rarely get solved along with co-worker situations. They have a set of core-values but to be honest NONE of them are even followed
