Pros

Free membership Pools, Sauna, Steam Beautiful space Nice equipment Great food in cafe Day spa/salon Meeting nice people- team members and members

Cons

Where should I start? Like drinking Kool-Aid & poison, want to lose insight on your personal morals and values, want no work/home life balance & live an unhealthy way of life, then apply for a position at Life Time. If not, RUN while you can!!! It's the MOST unhealthy way of life atmosphere for employees. Company can't possibly think it's normal that sales people are asked to work 8am - midnight the last few days of month, Managers are abused daily, team members are paid minimal wage and asked to do more than a slave would be, and whoever is in MN doing the hiring, should be fired. It's a joke who most of the leaders are! Have no personal training or management experience.???? You can Apply for a department head position and depending who is doing the hiring that day, you might just get the job!!!

Pros

Its wonderful getting the free platinum membership, and working in the spa I was able to trade services with all the stylists and aestheticians and get great work done for free. Once a year they pay for continuing education classes for the massage therapists and aestheticians. The energy in the gym is great and every single operations worker is so friendly. I got in great shape working here (most of the time working out on the clock.) :o

Cons

Our spa was woefully slow and managed poorly with a very high turnover of management positions. The lack of customers made switching from hourly to commission based pay a joke. At least as an MT, the pay was $10/hr. Laughable for the profession. Also, the massage rooms are NOT located in the spa, but on the complete other side of the gym, flanking the dressing rooms, gyms and CHILDCARE CENTER. Its just a little noisy.

Pros

The job allows for full time and part time work and also includes a gym membership with the job. You tend to meet a lot of interesting people while working there.

Cons

The pay is pretty much minimum wage and as everyone knows, this is not a living wage making working a second job necessary. This means that you are tired all the time.
