Pros

Access to state-of-the-art fitness facilities

Cons

Lifetime is best suited for young, entry level workers looking to carve out a path to upper management over the course of 5-10 years. If you are someone who has built and developed salary managerial experience for other businesses, you are more than likely going to hate this place. The Facility Ops Manager role is extremely bloated with janitorial tasks while being expected to manage a multi-million dollar operation administratively. The role is underpaid for the amount of work and dedication required to successfully perform the job. Your team member staff is most likely under 25 and untrained on best practices for cleaning a nearly round-the-clock facility. Lifetime does not take any aspect of janitorial serious and sees the staff as customer service agents "that clean" rather than cleaning professionals that "provide customer service." To compensate for that, they bake into the manager's role a slew of cleaning tasks that will send you home funky and tired and every single night. Oh, you'll still be responsible for payroll, scheduling, inventory procurement, capital expenditure planning, training staff, satisfying inter-department agreements and facility inspections, audits, and reporting. Is it doable? Sure. But the work life balance is abysmal and there are just far too many better opportunities for a mature professional out here. If you're desperate for income, give Lifetime a try. Beyond that, go where you can excel and go home happy, at the same time.

Cons

Toxic CEO and upper management culture. They claim culture of care when in fact it is a culture of scare with threats to jobs and worse.

Pros

-Free Diamond membership to all Life Time's in North America. -Employee discount

Cons

-VERY CHEAP management... AVOID!! Penny pinching all their own employees... Oh you're Inside the building but not in the exact spot you're suppose to be in since management can't properly tell you where to go an be beforehand? Boom time submission rejection (<$4 submission rejection... ridiculous). -Most UNORGANIZED place I've ever worked out. Borderline a joke. -You get MAYBE 5 hours of work a week. -You come to work "on-call" sometimes... which means you MAYBE have to work. If you're needed, you get to work. If you aren't needed... well then you got prepared, drove to work and drove all the way home for NO REASON at all... wtf is that?? Who does that and thinks it's ok to do regularly? Idiotic. -Sometimes you get to come to work just to work 1 whole hour! Amazing! -You get paid a different rate when you're not doing racquet-professional work. The rate is SIGNIFICANTLY lower and is unrelated to the role your applied for but you're asked and required to do it by management. -If you like getting paid <10-20% of what the company actually profits by running the racquet sports classes, then this job is perfect for you!
