Pros

I love working at Lifeplus for various reasons: - The company lives and breathes well-being and really looks after their employees. I was off sick for two weeks this year, received flowers from my colleagues to get well and had a chat with the HR manager to see if there is anything else the company can do for me to recover. I have never felt so cared for in any other company I worked for. - Very accommodating with shifts if changes are needed for personal reasons. One of my team members attends a summer training course and can temporarily reduce their hours to get their on time and have enough energy to succeed in the course. - Great development opportunities within customer care as there is a three-level development programme starting right after the induction that comes with a pay rise for each new level too. - Development into other departments if skills and interests are a good match; in the last 12 months over 20% of the Rest of Europe team progressed into different areas of the business - The company still has a family culture and values support and collaboration. It is fun to work here and we laugh a lot :-) - The customers are very positive and really appreciate all we do for them. In four years at Lifeplus I have only had two not so pleasant conversations and countless lovely chats and connections. It's fantastic to feel this positivity and enthusiasm, knowing that our work makes such a big difference for them.

Cons

Of course, no company is perfect. With the rapid growth in the last four years the company had to branch out and expand from one location for all departments to three different locations. Sometimes that makes it more difficult for us to work together. Currently, we are in the process of implementing a ERP system. It comes along with lots of testing to ensure everything goes well when we go live. It's a great opportunity for colleagues to provide feedback and shape the system but it also means that they "disappear" from their teams for a few days or weeks while they help out with the ERP project. That can leave the team a bit short-staffed. In the end though we all know that it will be temporarily.
