      Team struggles under New Manager but thank God for good coffee

      Benefits, gym, and fancy nice office.

      Cons

      New manager came in with no real experience to lead a sales team and seems to be learning management skills mainly through LinkedIn Learning. The micromanagement is extreme, and there is no real discussion, guidance, or direction, and relies on ChatGPT for coaching instead of practical industry knowledge. Most of the team has either left or been let go, which has damaged morale.

      Pros

      LI has a special working environment that embodies the culture and values of the company. Employees really move with care and consideration and the company provides opportunities to balance work and life like no other company. The environment can seem surreal at times, but my experience was great and I would recommend the company to anyone interested in being a part of the organization.

      Cons

      While there are career development opportunities, the process of advancement will require you to apply and show, and prove against your peers and external applicants. Recognition is a pat on the back for a job well done, rather than a gateway that positions you to advance to the next level. You likely will have to wait for your team to open a new position to apply and pursue it, which can potentially lead to feeling like there aren't many opportunities for growth.
