Pros

Great benefits, but that's honestly it.

Cons

This place stinks of high school drama and popularity scores. If you're an introvert, expect to be stepped on and given no opportunity for advancement. You will not be promoted if you do great work but don't join the activities. If you don't drink the Kool-Aid, you will be put in a corner and told that your attitude is terrible. Ultimately, LinkedIn's leadership is more concerned with feeling cool than they are about creating an environment to facilitate growth for all types of people.

Gun to Head Approach

Pros

All the pros have gone. No point having a canteen, and gym and perks when as a company you berate, bully, & micromanage us reps

Cons

If you’ve been performing well for several years/months and you have a bad quarter rest assured they will put you on a pip and fire you. Do NOT work in the London office. I urge you everyone is unhappy. HR allow heinous things to happen and are rather incompetent and lack empathy. I watched someone endure racism and lots of other things and HR did tidily squat

Lots of smoke and mirrors

Pros

Great product with minimal competition Competitive pay Robust employee benefits Owned by Microsoft

Cons

Zero transparency on promotions Lots of politics and a** kissing Superficial commitment to diversity and engagement Mediocre senior leadership - lack of operational knowledge and blind trust on the operations teams Atrocious front line managers that add no value except for being middle men for senior leaders - how did they get hired/promoted? Everyone is out for themselves - no team spirit Undergoing transformation and left tons of gaps for employees at the bottom to address themselves
