Over hired and tired

Pros

Great Culture as a company, one of the best products out there

Cons

No transparency, leadership is corrupt on the manager/director level, shady things happen behind the scenes with reps receiving favoritism from the corrupt managers. Changing products all the time leads to upset customers, unattainable quotas, way to many reps and not enough accounts. Managers and directors don't care about reps and will create fake performance plans if they don't like you.

Pros

Salary is pretty good but not great

Cons

Namer focused, lots of late night calls, depending on your team you are expected to work significantly over time. Performance is based on popularity and stakeholder connection over actual deliverables. If you are not left leaning diversity and inclusion will not include you. The global recession will hurt linkedIn

Pros

I joined LinkedIn 3 years ago in 2020, excited for the amazing culutre I had heard about and felt I found it. Flexible work, Good employee benefits, plenty social events, good work/life balance, a focus on mental health and recognition.

Cons

In the last year at LinkedIn, it has changed from my favoriute place to work throughout entire whole career to my worst. (For anyone looking for reviews, I would look at 2022 onwards). Management has changed to more of a numbers focused team, and basically you are doing well and are in the good books or if you're slipping they want you out of the business. In the last 6 months, 4 of my colleages (about 20% of our department) have been put on performance plans that I know about and everyone has a constant fear that they are next. As a result, most people are stressed and working longer days. Our Employee Experience survey numbers have dropped from about 85/100 to 40/100 as people are overworked, burned out, with little career prospects and fear of job security.
