Pros

The company committed to the highest standards of research, development, talent nurturing and ethics. Operating in a global scale is a unique experience, if you are in the global role. Interesting place right now as digital transformation is going on and the whole industry is changing by it. You can be proud on the CEO and the company's mission and the way it is achieving it.

Cons

Everything important gets political. It is natural in such a complex environment, but you have to learn how to live in this environment. It usually takes couple of years and it implies you fall down couple of times. Count on long terms only. There is a huge drive for change, but you're riding on a dinosaur.

Pros

Excellent team and well bonded with no office politics forged by hard times made mostly by bad managing skills of the leaders

Cons

The leaders are weak, selfish and irresponsible. Good at shifting blames and finding scapegoats so that they can protect their pay. Quick to claim credits but nowhere to be found when there are issues. Instead of searching for the right root causes of failure, they often take the easy way by blaming other departments.

Pros

Good salary. Good many days off (especially in the Netherlands, France or Germany). Used to have a good training budget but times are definitly changing. Promotions rely to much on who you know and not always on your actual achievments but thats probably true for a lot of large companies. You do have good ways to develop yourself if you want to. Diversity is handled well by the company but the intregrity does not translate to true respect for the emplyees.

Cons

I worked in IT which was constantly on the move with not really much vision behind it. They (IT) sometimes act like they can be the next Google or Apple but it's a different kind of organization altogether. The organization changes direction every couple of year..current trend: fire their current workforce and hire cheaper employees in Eastern Europe.
