Very independent work, stimulating, improves writing and reading skills immensely. Very kind employees, casual relaxed office feel, flexible.

Cons

Can be monotonous since you're almost only reading/writing. Not that much contact with other employees since most of your work is independent and done from your desk. No small tasks, only larger projects.

Still focused on the teachers and the students first and foremost.

Cons

The salary structure is not consistent in the company, but I have found this at most publishers. No one really goes into educational publishing for the money.
