Pros

Very flexible and grown up attitude to staff - it is all about getting the work done and not on rigid working hours. Is a company moving with the times, with a great future.

Cons

There is still a little of the old world publishing feel about certain areas of the business and the free lunch could be better, but the it's free.....

to my opinion Macmillan is not only a publisher but to my opinion its a Institution.Here people learn and grow .

Cons

As such there is nothing but there is lot of variation of salary if you work in KOLKATA.why the eastern region offices will be open and rest of india will enjoy holiday in saturday.

Friendly co workers Nice location relaxed atmosphere free books occasionally

Cons

Pay well below market rates in ALL areas (even compared to other publishers) Staff development is always promised but never delivered Senior Mgmt do not seem to have much clue of what's going on beneath them, poor decision making Stale environment Christmas party was in the staff canteen, which sums it up really
