Pros

*Fellow employees are passionate about book publishing both as an art and as a business. *Low-key work environment; not too buttoned-up. *Access to great books.

Cons

*Low salary (especially for entry-level workers). *Difficult to move up. *Managers are often extremely busy (understandably so) and it can be difficult to establish a mentoring relationship.

Pros

Very flexible and grown up attitude to staff - it is all about getting the work done and not on rigid working hours. Is a company moving with the times, with a great future.

Cons

There is still a little of the old world publishing feel about certain areas of the business and the free lunch could be better, but the it's free.....
