Pros

Department managers have a solid understanding of their operations and take the time to truly get to know their employees.

Cons

Executive leadership (as so often in larger holding companies) seem out of touch with employees and "reorganization" seems to be the go-to model for them.

Pros

+ kind coworkers + you get to work on well designed books + cares about mental health more than other companies

Cons

- Favoritism toward non POC coworkers by department heads - Low pay and no promotions: this resulted in high turn over rates, particularly an inability to retain POC staff. - Poor management within the design department
