Pros

Benefits are pretty much standards for the industry.

Cons

Terrible clique like culture all the way up to the top. I would never go back even for my dream job.

Pros

Committed competent people at every level of the business. Privately held and manageable goals.

Cons

Lack of upward mobility. Nichie environment that comes with smaller companies. Length of employment often takes precedent over performance in promotions.

Love my coworkers, love the books, company decent at communicating

Cons

Doesn't pay enough to live on in NYC, but nothing out of the ordinary for publishing unfortunately
