Believe it or not: A company that cares

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

First of all, Macmillan publishes books! That's an automatic net-positive... But perhaps more importantly, the people in charge care about both sustainable change and their employees. Very humane company, and that motivates people

Cons

Work is feast or famine: sometimes overwhelmed, sometimes underwhelmed, but that's the nature of the beast.

Pros

In terms of publishing, Macmillan has some of the better compensation (entry level 42k, past year was a 3k bonus + imprint specific bonus.)

Cons

still could make more with same skills in other industries
