Pros

The benefits are relatively good. It is women friendly. And it has a good cafeteria.

Cons

This is a not a great company to work for in a technical/non-managerial role, especially software related roles. The company relies very heavily on outsourcing companies who are doing a poor job. The standard coding and development practices are completely ignored. Worst code I have ever seen. Don't be fooled by the title of the positions. Software engineers here don't really do much of technical stuff, they are expected to do be in meetings the whole time and address the impediments of the outsourcing companies. I did not enjoy my time here. The recruiters seek out Indian guys for the Software positions. Perhaps they think they will stick around in spite of the very shabby work environment. I have absolutely no disrespect for the Indian developers. Many of them are great. But not all outsourcing companies and projects are the same and this company puts them on a pedestal.

Pros

Good benefits, cheap 5 star hotels stays, good colleagues

Cons

Bullying and aggressivity allowed and done without punishment by executive management, complaints about executive management are just deleted or ignored, expressing opinions leads to disciplinary, no prospect to advance unless you´re one of their national or you lick butts, too much politics and too many lies, too many chiefs, very ignorant and sad environment, I´ve seen so many people getting a nervous breakdown and crying, even the GM herself can get mean like in primary school, there were times where 10% of the employees resigned in one single week, even in one department of 7 people where they had 6 managers over 2 years, after the new manager felt he couldn't cope with them knowing more than him,he bullied them and 6 people resigned within one year....all departments are just the same there...people were congratulating each other once they know they will be leaving....associate surveys are hidden and don't lead to any changes and managers have a go with people simply to push them to leave...professionalism and manners of executive management are rather low level......and it goes on and on and on, an article in a local paper was even written about the mess in that place.....just do your self a favour and stay away!

IT Outsourcing - Heading down the

Pros

There are opportunities to work remote part time. Most of the people are good to work with. Decent benefits, but, those are being cut back. Nice discounts on hotel rooms, when they're available.

Cons

Outsourcing has destroyed moral. Sr management is not in touch with employees below them. The company is now being run by finance managers, from the CEO down. It's all about the bottom line and wall street. Cutting benefits, rising costs to associates. They've lost the family core value management they used to advocate.
