Pros

Great benefits overall, nice offices and hybrid work possible

Cons

Only one opinion matters, and that's Mark Z's. I spent months and tons of resources working on several different initiatives, and none of them launched. Work is not very fulfilling as a result.

Well paid, poorly led

Pros

Compensation is genuinely competitive — base, RSUs, the works. And for a long time, the culture matched it. People were collegial and generous. Work-life boundaries were real: when you were off, you were off. No one bothered you. Family came first and colleagues respected that.

Cons

Leadership substitutes broad vision statements for actual strategy. In Business Marketing specifically, there’s no clear direction — no revenue goals, no specific targets to rally around. The gap gets quietly handed to senior ICs, who are expected to fill in what leadership won’t define. Meanwhile, the culture has shifted into pure survival mode. People protect their own scope. Projects get driven hard through a performance cycle, then dropped. Nothing compounds. There’s a lot of motion and very little continuity. It feels like the implicit message is: be grateful you’re here. That’s not leadership.
