      Pros

      Students are great, most of them. As a part time it's good. Total flex and freedom.

      Cons

      It's not problem you are paid aprox $2 per class, the problem is there is no consistency. One day you can have a one class another ten, next twenty and after it zero. Even I have rating of 4.96 of 5 for over 400 classes. That's happening bcs they are hiring new tutor all the time. And they are doing it, because focus is on native speakers. Others just fill the gaps and holes.

      Pros

      Get to meet and have conversations with lots of Japanese people. Flexible hours work when you want.

      Cons

      Low pay for standby classes. Difficult to get bookings because students can take standby classes cheaper. Get paid half the price of a booked class for a standby class.
