Pros

Do not get me wrong. Natura is a company with great ideals and values. I really think that my working there makes a difference. It is a company that invests on education and I believe that that is the best investment anyone can make. This is also a company that cares about its environmental and social impacts so they are not only concerned about making the company financially profitable and this is a huge sign of evolution when you compare the company with the average company nowadays.

Cons

However, this is a company that allows for its beliefs to be stronger than reality. Opportunities for growth are excessively limited and controlled in order to allow no difference in growth, obviously benefiting a lazy work environment since hardworkers are hardly recognized. For instance, they claim that in order to allow no difference in recognition, all interns that are made analyst shall be made analysts with the same salary and benefits, so the intern that worked lazyly for 6 months is supposed to have the same recognition as the 2 years hardworking intern and, when asked, the HR always answer that they only want people who wants to work with Natura to be with Natura. I have seen too many evidence of hypocresy from the inside of the company to conclude that even though they tell a wonderful story it is mainly to attract low paid workers and naive revenue. I am currently searching for another job. It is sad that a company like that is being torn down by an HR that believes that the company is above compensating their employees financially. Yes, it is wonderful to know that your job is meaningful, but how can you keep it if you are being paid way below market average when the company is historically distributing 80%+ of its profit to shareholders??? I am not compaining about dividend payment, but this seems as slavery with a colourful excuse.
