Pros

Traveling the world! Thankful on that note. If you are more interested in sales and traveling than healing people, this is perfect for you!

Cons

They do emphasize the sales part, but what it is translated to was they couldn't care less if people need acupuncture or not, make them believe they do. Long hours. You are required to do at least 52 hrs a week, which is a leisure and the rest of the spa team recents you because other positions are required much more hours per week. They couldn't care less if people need herbs or not, just sell them. Long cruises don't tend to host spa people since they rather spend their money in outdoor activities, but too bad for you. They will drill you about numbers in all ways possible. They promote from within, which is nice, but their spa managers are not required to have formal college education in management and use aggression to lead their teams. I am sure there are exceptions, but this is what I experienced and herd from others. I only did one contract.

Worst Company ever

Pros

Great way to travel, make loads of friends

Cons

The company only care about sales and forcing you to recommend to every client, basically saying to them that they need to pay $300+ for a face cream. They are so focused on their revenue that a therapist doing amazing treatments gets punished as they don't do enough retail. The only reason they care about retail is that they get 91% of the sale. They need to be paid $50 a day in services and retail on top of that. Management onboard is hit or miss, I had one who understood that excellent service was important and one who only cared about how much money the spa brought in, regardless if the service was good. The company lost more money this way as there was a member of the team who always had complaints and other team members had to perform the recovery service, mostly with no money going to them, instead the complaining member gets paid. But she did retail so it was allowed. This team member also had a habit of lying to the manager about the spa team which was not good for morale as the manager was constantly annoyed at us for something we didn't do.
