Pros

If you're looking for a company that takes interest in it's employees, looks to foster growth and opportunities for staff, actually cares about employees then run from this place, run fast and run far. Optum360 is a horrible company with one focus and one focus only, metrics. Their turnover is high because no one cares and you'll often hear the words (well it's your job) muttered by leaders and inferred by Corp. Directors and AVP's. Other than remote work from home there are no pros to this company, executives boast about billion dollar earnings then send you a chocolate bar as a thanks. Company is a joke and led by the worst leaders I've worked for in 28 years in the workforce. *Many great front line leaders at the facility level but unfortunately most of them are looking or a way out of the company. Turnover is high and positions are often left unfilled for months to make sure they meet their numbers for the quarter or year.

Cons

* no development of employees, absolutely no interest by leadership to develop and grow staff. Lots of lip service but no actual actions. *AVP's and above are rude, unprofessional, and don't actually understand the basic definition of leadership or how to lead. *leadership has no concept on team building, hard to build a team when you speak to your staff once a month. Again see previous comments on leaders and their lack of actual leadership ability. * Executive teams love to boast about how well the company is doing yet the company provides garbage benefits, bonuses that never even reached 50% of what was discussed during interview, even for top performers. *If you want to feel appreciated or like you make a difference, do yourself a favor and go work for Starbucks or Target, their leadership actually has to attend a leadership course. These supposed leaders care about one thing and that's themselves and their career advancement.

Company in Transformation

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

* Solid Company Values - Offers all levels the opportunity to be culture ambassadors. * Enticing and engaging roles - if one finds the right one, they can leave each day feeling they delivered value. * Great resources/partners at the front line both on and off shore - dedicated, committed and ready to help.

Cons

* Monthly layoffs - keep the resume tuned and do not expect longevity. * Minimal work/life balance - while some opportunity has been given to work from home, much of the downsizing appears to target remote and mature workers * Open seating - while anticipated to improve collaboration, appears to reduce communication and productivity. * Site/Department aligned HR partners - unresponsive and candidly, incompetent * Transformation - ongoing for more than 4 years - some employees have seen 7 or more manager changes - fear of downsizing is a performance and morale barrier. * Communication - While several attempts have been made to keep websites updated, to get distribution lists updated, what one hears from above appears to be related to 'who you know' versus any consistent communication tool or forum. * Metrics tracking/analytics/financial reporting - way too many tools for tracking with no or limited data validation. * HR quotas during performance review time - no matter how many have been downsized throughout the year, it is still expected that each department will meet the guidance on numbers of 2's, 3's, 4's and 5's for performance ratings, and are still expected to only recommend bonuses for up to 80% of team members.
