Pros

Management could be understanding about taking time off if you found someone to switch shifts with you. The employees are tight-knit and it's fun to interact with the "regulars" who come in frequently. the location gets busy before and after college gameday, so there are definitely opportunities to make money.

Cons

If you needed time off because of a medical issue, they really would try to talk to you out of it. Ultimately, management would exert very little effort and give harsh criticism without inquiring about the situation at hand. No effort was recognized and thus, the company culture was somewhat lacking.

Pros

Great food, very popular company... People will always eat, so you are in little danger of the company folding or collapsing.

Cons

Tons of hours, your salary per hour comes out to pennies when you compare to the work you do to "regular" jobs.
