Pros

The other employees become like family, I got very close to everyone I worked with and it adds a lot to work morality. Hours specifically for host are amazing, very easy going job once you get it down. Requests are generally honored promptly.

Cons

Management staff is a bit ridiculous. Micromanaged extensively, politics cease any advancement almost to a complete stop. The money is on the lower side, servers tip out to hosts which are paid a servers pay plus tip share (3% of business sales) which very often adds to less than minimum wage. To go was also paid a servers wage plus tips, however the stigma rains fairly true; no one tips to go. Servers were crowded, even on workdays 13 servers would be on the clock, so money is not promised by any means.

Pros

The hours are very flexible... for certain people I suppose. He discount really is great. 50% off for you and another person, three is 33%, and so on. The shifts in general, usually go by pretty fast.

Cons

Hours are only flexible depending on who you are. At my specific location only one person is to work takeaway monday through thursday. Two on F-Su. There is only one person who strictly works TA at my location... that is me. So I am generally scheduled for every day... besides lately as they are moving up a lot of hosts, who also are bus boys as well and are taking my hours away. Advancement is only really possible if managers or propietor have you on their special list. THe pay generally kind of sucks. You get minimum wage plus tips... but for a friday and saturday combined I came home with less then 30 in tips... business just isnt in TA.
