Pros

easy $100 a night. fast paced. build regular customers, management support overall. Tools are there for you to learn procedures and extensive menu knowledge. This helps servers know the product and impress the guess $$$. Good group of people to work with. Management touches each table and ensures your guests are happy so be on your toes. JVP pops in to say hi, store runs so smoothly he has other things to worry about, (this is a good thing for both management and staff) I have enjoyed all my managers at Suffern, NY (3308), Danbury, CT (0762), Shelton, CT (0716)

Cons

sidework and silverware. if you can't let stress roll off or if you are to sensitive then NO restaurant is a match for you. What you put in is what you get out. You will work holidays and weekends belong to Outback. You need to decide if you want to work or just hang out. opportunity for advancement, especially women( thanks to a class action suit). No problem transferring to another

Long shifts. No work life balance

Pros

The pay was good. The dining perks were nice.

Cons

You work long shifts. 10 hours was a short shift for me. Also, you work every weekend, and getting time off was difficult. You will miss almost all family engagements. And my area never seemed to be fully staffed with managers, so there were times that we would need to help cover another location.

Pros

Huge room for advancement the company promotes from within and has one of the most advanced training programs for staff and management I have ever seen. Great bonus program! All of the Online Management Training basically is the equivalent of a business degree in terms of knowledge.

Cons

Long hours 12+ multiple times a week(MGMT), Lower grossing income/tips months during the slow seasons, having to adapt to occasional poorly executed item or system roll outs.
