Pros

Not much, quasi free lunch/snacks

Cons

Low pay, CEO micro manages poorly. Axed entire profitable studio to give product to another studio with a history of failure after failure. Tech stack is horrible ancient garbage

Pros

•Awesome casual work environment •Great, talented, intelligent people on the floor •Pays decently, great full benefits •Plenty of social events (maybe too many) •Easy work if you're looking for that

Cons

•Management filled with friends rather than qualified people •Rampant disorganization and blatant lying to employees from management •CEO has to control everything, doesn't trust anyone •Huge lack of communication regarding almost everything •Extremely stagnant career-wise, no career development or ladders to climb •CEO makes spur-of-the-moment decisions without thinking things through •Very inefficient in most aspects, way too many meetings, interruptions to workflows, last second changes, crunches for every single release •(Subjective) Very boring product and work tasks

Pros

- 100% health benefit coverage for you and your dependents! - True, and an amazing benefit. - Commuter benefits program. - True, and as expected.

Cons

- Great downtown Austin location with extensive nearby dining options and vibrant nightlife. - Sure, but that's a benefit of downtown, not the company. - Employee-driven entertainment, happy hours, and team-building events. - True, but only employees who are on the committee influence the events. - Casual startup-like environment. - Only if you're referring to dress code. - An open, collaborative work space. - This is true regarding how the physical space is laid out, and that's all. - Flexible vacation policy. - On paper, yes. Be prepared to take a guilt trip once you start taking time off. - Catered lunches multiple times per week. - True, however, it's not worth participating in if you have any dietary restrictions. - Snacks and drinks available in the kitchen. - True, and also not for those with dietary restrictions.
