Amazing office, lots of room for growth and opportunities

Pros

They have a great portfolio of products and there's always work in the pipeline. The fact that they're myVegas and they're well-known in the industry opens a lot of doors. They're always open to suggestions. The executive team make themselves pretty accessible. Great group of people with a great attitude. Incredible office, lots of space, even patios! Kitchens full of goodies, lots of bathrooms (bonus!). Free lunches, lots of game nights, and lots of opportunity to learn new stuff. Plus lots of great perks, cool events throughout the year organized by the employees (but sponsored by the company), and an awesome holiday party. Great work-life balance. When you work hard, you get rewarded for it, or at least it's noticed. They like to track milestones and reward them. It's motivating. It's a big company in the sense that there are a ton of employees and the company is making money. But it's cool that it's a bit of a start up in the sense that there are still many milestones to achieve, still lots of room to offer change and growth. You can bring a lot to the table and still get noticed. There's no complacency, and you can avoid bureaucracy by speaking up. Unlike more corporate-type companies that make you cut through red tape to achieve things that are necessary.

Cons

It's not in the city, but you can't find office space like that in the city. Free parking makes up for commuting to Burlingame, not to mention the thisclose proximity to Caltrain.

Pros

+ Great new office in a great location + Fun team to work with + Work on a product that stands out from the competition with a unique rewards platform and high production values + Plenty of individual responsibility for people who want to take charge of their own career + Strong Vegas business relationships and slot machine knowledge in our team's DNA

Cons

+ It's a very competitive space that can result in priorities shifting often + We're being very aggressive with growth, so those averse to risk may not be suited here

Pros

I have been working here for a few weeks now, and so far so good. I was a little nervous about accepting a job here because of a few negative glass door reviews, but I am no longer concerned. Good work life balance compared to other game companies I have worked for. People are generally friendly and open to improvement. Located in a nice neighborhood with lots of nearby bars and restaurants. I feel like they are doing very good business-wise. Need some help with their tech, but that's what I'm here for.

Cons

Minor building issues as stated in the other reviews, but I hear management is looking at new buildings. There's a few problems with source control (one giant repo for everything, symlinking across projects) but they are open to fixing this.
