Pros

Despite losing many of their best staff, the health practice seems to be doing all right. Some good, dedicated people still making a go of it Because so many people leave, you stand a chance to get promoted more quickly (that does not generally translate to a pay increase) Good about working from home and decent PTO

Cons

Poorly devised and executed acquisitions have led to the decimation of 3 pretty good names in the development industry. (Didn't do the parent company in Australia any favors.) Rudderless. They are led by DFID and DFAT people based in Dubai who seems to have nothing but contempt for USAID and the American business. Creepy office environment (An open office layout where talking is discouraged) Business development, recruitment, and operations are understaffed and over-worked. Horrible HR, Payroll, and other support services - a mix of the incompetent and overworked.

Pros

The Palladium Group has a dedicated and brilliant team not only in New York, but across the world. The company is passionate about developing the Americas and bringing the best strategy execution to clients. The New York office offers a positive culture and fosters constructive working relationships.

Cons

Growing pains. The brand refresh needs to be rolled out into the US market fully with clear communication and engagement tactics. New York office space is a bit small but know they are looking at a larger office space to accommodate human capital.

Pros

Global health and development focused. Many caring employees and some good managers.

Cons

Recent re-branding has been rolled out pretty badly, from lack of information to a complete disregard for focus groups and pre-testing materials in the US. The organization is run by mostly white men who keep talking about diversifying but haven't done enough yet. Not easy to transfer to other jobs in the company and thus learn new skills and be relevant in the job market.
