Great colleagues and passionate peers. The culture and values of the place on paper reads well.

Cons

Leadership terrible. Unethical business practices. Terrible work life balance and expectations of staff. Whistleblower process managed in-house. Salaries below market rate and lack of gender pay parity - male colleagues paid more for the exact same work (and at times with less outputs). A lot of people of privilege in corporate team, a lack of understanding and awareness on diversity, and lack of First Nations cultural competency.

people really care about you as a person, not just an employee. they will advocate for you if you prove yourself to be diligent, even if you are not on their team.

Cons

it is not easy to advance once you reach the top of the junior-level bracket. opportunities for travel are limited for junior-level staff. a lot of flux in organizational structure and in leadership
