Pros
When I was there everyone sincerely cared about each other like it was a second family. With that culture it was easy to do your work and excel. I moved up a few positions while there and regrettably left for more money elsewhere. The management team I worked under in Reno were possibly the best all around team I’d been associated with in my working lifetime. I believe most have retired, but some may still be in the logistics business around the world. I do remember the benefits were above the norm’ and inexpensive for a family of three. I was shocked the first time they held a surprise birthday party for me. Then a baby shower that was incredible. The people in the office made it like a family, but also expected you to be on point and work hard. I learned more about the world I ten years of working there than I had my entire life.
Cons
Pasha has to keep evolving and the time I spent there was a luxury as we had a small division that dealt with government freight and logistics through the GSA program. I believe the Reno office is now more of a data entry clearinghouse for military freight and Pasha’s oceanliners that serve all of the western seaboard to Hawaii. Really no cons in my time, it was that great of a place to work. Like family there were always disagreements and pettiness due to the grind, but overall I met and continue to stay in touch with the core group I worked with while there for ten years.
