- Many opportunities to learn new things, trainings, conferences - Diverse technology also encourages people to learn and master new skills - Good benefits - Talented people - Friendly atmosphere

Cons

- Company carries the baggage from 10-15 years ago: departmental silos, IT vs Dev, slow to react to new technologies - sub-par management on all levels: micromanagement, lack of transparency, say one thing-do something else, favoritism, personal preferences - talented employees were forced out because they didn't submit to their poorly performing superiors

Sony is a large company with lots of hardware and software opportunities, people coming into Sony are excited to be part of what could be an amazing place for innovation within design and engineering.

Cons

Massive amount of blocking from self-promoting management on ideas and innovation. Most people leave within a year, them that stay are locked by political handcuffs.
