Pros

Great corporate atmosphere, company is doing well, top leaders are visionaries. Some of the smartest people I've known.

Cons

Some groups have been growing, which is good, but new hires in the last couple years at the director level have been poor at best. Very political with little accountability or vision. If you end up reporting to such a person, be cautious.

Seemed like a great opportunity, but was one of the worst jobs of my life

Pros

I got a ton of free games in the three months I was employed as a PlayStation Representative. I liked being able to set my own schedule to a certain extent.

Cons

Where do I begin. The pay is incredibly low for the amount of work you have to do. Getting shipped boxes every week and opening and organizing them all the time is time consuming in itself. My favorite account to work with was GameStop. I think the KPI metrics need to be revisited. Associate Engagement is a complete waste of time when Target, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart employees don't really care. There are a rare few that do though in those accounts. I received a warning for scheduling a day off on a day I was originally planning to work at the last minute. However, when you need to constantly schedule demo events and product trainings and a store calls you to confirm, sometimes you need to make last minute changes to avoid overtime, which is it what I did. I felt micro managed, which is something I despise. Just let me schedule my stores and events and you can view that in ROAM. The ROAM software is complete garbage. It's slow and I got a warning I wasn't writing detailed comments for my visits. Well, in the surveys, you ask what I'm doing, so I don't feel a need to write it down twice. Time keeping is a joke in itself. They need to really use Workday or Shift Planning or some other time tracking app because entering time in ADP and ROAM and then calculating your drive time is a mess in itself. HR told me I could work as much OT as I wanted, but I got a warning the first time I did, so I felt lied to. All in all, I didn't have a work/life balance and that is moist important to me.
