Pros

Fun industry to be in. Compensation seems competitive Generous Vacation (if you get to use it)

Cons

Leaders are focusing on a bunch of bandwagon woke objectives. Better be woke or willing to keep quiet if you want to work at PlayStation.

Pros

The company offers great benefits and is flexible when it comes to maintaining a good work-life balance. Employees are friendly and open-minded and there is a solid sense of community.

Cons

Lots of office politics. Very ageist organization. Promotions go to friends or connections. Lower-level employees do the bulk of the work while senior leadership take credit and keep getting promoted. Not much room for innovation and independent thought. A great place for followers, not so much for people who want to effect real change.

Pros

Free games, swag, and other discounted PS related merch and devices.

Cons

Benefits and pay are sub par compared to other Bay Area tech companies. This makes PS talent pool subpar as well. Had to move out because it was a top heavy org, no upward mobility despite high performance.
