Pros

Lots of great people Very professional Stable

Cons

It's a very profit worshiping, big, bluechip company, which you'd expect, but there's a strange culture of pretentiousness. It's a soap company, but tlook at the slogan: "Touching lives, improving life". And LOTS of employees use the workplace as a place to push far left political ideology. It's litterally built into mandatory trainings that you must "pass" which if you're of a different opinion requires you to lie. You feel like a cog in the machine. You can end up working exclusively on things outside of your field of expertees and like you have no control over the sort of work you end up doing. The people you see do well are all "diverse" but in reality, they're all type A folk who know how to play the game, where some tallented, hard working scientists and engineers end up doing less well because they lack those P&G "leadership qualities".

Pros

- Plenty of leadership experience that will carry you for the rest of your career - Great benefits for parents/families - many women take 8 months of mat leave, daycare, ivf coverage, etc - Plenty of verbal and written presentations giving you a serious leg up for your career - ERG networking is strong and your can turn to mentors, advocates, and champions for helpful guidance/direct help with your career

Cons

- No longer on the cutting edge of marketing given all of the processes and middleman that are required to execute - Unimpressive leadership that does not know how to teach or coach - Your training is owned by you and relies heavily on in office interaction to learn because leadership does not know how to train - Single, young people are not seen as equals vs those with families typically taking on more work burdens or not given as much flexibility with time management - Cincinnati is a tough community to break into if you don’t have a family or you’re looking to make connections outside of P&G, min 3 days required in office
