Pros

Good salary for the midwest.

Cons

You will work endless hours on menial tasks that provide you almost no credentials outside of P&G. You will be given no real responsibility for at least 5 years after joining. Its filled with white people in a city that has 1% asian, hispanic, or other. If you are ethnic you are brought on for being ethnic and pushed to a corner to fill their ethnic quota. They are constantly firing people. There is no oversight of how managers treat their employees. HRs only job is to protect the company from its employees.

Pros

If you are smart you learn something about business, how to build a brand, how to influence an organization, how to play corporate politics and how to make a career in a big company. If not, you learn how to play the system and eventually you can even win.

Cons

This company is a nest of bullies, mostly caring with corporate politics and saving their own big fat paychecks rather than with the good of the Company. It was here I saw human beings at their worst, but always with a fake smile on their face. I feel sorry for people who are eluded enough to believe in this system.

Pros

- Friendly atmosphere within the site - Open door policy between managers & staff - Relatively young site with a lot chance for bonding outside of work - Good benefits like staff shops - Good free private healthcare scheme - Lots of training given to staff

Cons

- If you go to a non red brick uni you come in as a Researcher; if you went to a red brick uni (think Oxbridge etc) you come in as a Scientist. The career advancement from Researcher to a Senior Scientist level may take 15 years whereas comparatively it only takes up to 5 years from a Scientist to go onto Senior Scientist. So for those coming in at the bottom, expect to stay there awhile. - Don't expect a good pay if you start at the bottom. - You are expected to put in the hours.
