Pros

Has a great company view point when it comes to mental health, and seems to genuinely care about its employees. They offer great benefits as soon as you start training. Definitely lots of room for growth if that is what you are looking for. Definitely a great company to get started in your financial career.

Cons

Starting at the call centre, the wage is barely above what I was making on EI. Going through training during the pandemic, I was left feeling very alienated and not at all connected to my fellow colleagues. There is room for growth which is great, but appears it will take a while to get there. Wage is low, you have four seconds between each call to gather yourself, and you are penalized when you don't take your breaks on time (even if you are helping a customer).

Pros

Flexible support with family or health responsibilities

Cons

Pay is very low and not competitive for the industry. When someone receives a promotion it is in name only and not with a significant pay raise unless they are a people manager.

Pros

- If you are an average or low performer, you will get great support until all resources are exhausted - Great at welcoming and helping you settle in your role through training - Good work benefits package

Cons

- If you are great at your job, you will keep getting double the work than your colleagues - Pay is way below the industry standard for this role here in regards to caseload - Not so great at keeping or motivating talent to stay with the company resulting in a high turnover rate
