Pros

-thorough training -excellent benefits -resop -okay pay if you are fresh out of school

Cons

-unrealistic, clearly defined expectations - should be proportionate to the locations demographics i.e. an urban metropolis vs a small municipality (quotas are uniform regardless of your region or location) -favoritism is prevalent -ULTRA conservative culture -false sense of importance working at a "big bank" -you will be micro-managed incessantly to maintain a certaint level of performance or, of course, do better=) -unpredictable days (people calling in sick all the time increasing additional work loads) -random promotions that appear out of nowhere that clients know about before employees -moving away from client based needs towards aggressive sales platform -role is becoming slowly obsolete due to technology i.e online banking, ATMS, telephone services -redundant -emotionally draining

Pros

Great people and good work life balance.

Cons

Lack of career growth for existing employees. At best you see lateral moves.

Pros

Access to different technologies to learn.

Cons

Too many play office favorites/gossip, not much upwards movement.
