Pros

A nice safe haven in bad times; genuine hard-working people below executive level; strong business ethics under previous leader (but it had started to slip).

Cons

Below market salaries and bonus, despite their protestations to the contrary; limited career progression (unless you're Canadian) as they will almost always hire ( Canadians ) from outside ( Canadian ) rivals for new, higher positions. High danger of being pigeon-holed in a limiting role. Foreign assignment risky as you may be stuck there with no route back when they decide to exit that region. Lawyer needed on exit to get a fair deal.

Not many good things to say.

Cons

Small offices, extreme favoritism towards a part time employee. This person basically refuses to cover vacations. Weird how a part time employee can dictate to the branch director what she will or won't do and what hours she will or won't work. Last I checked, the Branch Director is the boss.

Good Salary (for the position), Training program is well done, and prepares you quite well for the position you are taking on.

Cons

Management always gives you conflicting, confusing advice. They also place much pressure on sales of prodcuts, and don't consider the value of the products, just volume.
