Pros

At a national level, RSM is highly invested in its people. RSM is starting to get real name recognition in the industry, so it's a great name to have on your resume. Employees in the consulting group are generally rockstars. The benefits are at least on par with larger competitors. For someone just entering the field, RSM is a great place to start.

Cons

The technology practice drives toward profitability instead of innovation. At the local office, the work is always bite-sized, so your skills never develop toward full project experience. The middle management are not experts in their domain, and because of this the clients suffer from short-sighted, profit-driven decisions. The local senior management exhibits strong nepotism and favortism. Turnover is horrendous.
