Pros

Nice salary for entry-level role, work experience is good for resume (recruiters reach out all the time with positions), and some of the people you work with are great

Cons

- There is a lot of favoritism causing people whom the manager's and partners favorite to get promoted faster and be on the better clients. - There is a lack of work-life balance during busy season for employee's whom have many projects. - There is an inequality in amount of work spread to employees: some people work 80 hours a week and others work 35 hours a week - There is an expectation that you don't take vacation during busy season, however, if you're a senior associate and above - feel free to take multiple weeks off during the busiest time of year. - There is a lot of hostility in the workplace and i don't care for the way some people treat me. Note: I know there are a lot of negative points, and your probably wondering why i still work here. Basically, i am still an employee waiting to be promoted so i can leave and find a company that actually cares and has a quality work-life balance.

Pros

Happy moments when you get posted for oversea assignment.

Cons

They make you work like hell despite the staff is over-worked and health is impaired. The company don't treat you well. Partner only cares about their billing target and always hungry for business. There is a 2-year contract and a laptop scheme. In short, you are paying for the laptop for 3 years. Every staff has "billing target" so if I am given a files with a lot of mess and imagine the audit fee is low. It is hard for me to achieve that. My colleague will not help me if I don't share my audit fee with them. So what teamwork is there? Other colleague has their off peak, while I am still clearing the audit points. Plus we are treated like an admin staff. Plus not to mention that I have to clear so many rounds of review points - manager/Partner/QC partner. Partner can go on long holiday but when the staff clear leave, that Partner make noise! When my colleague left, they took 3 months to replace a staff. Luckily I moved on to big 4.

Pros

Meet a lot of people both within the office and at client sites; project opportunities are great; always competing against of people in the office

Cons

You will travel and work a ton of OT; Management cares more about changeability vs. what is the best situation for employee's and clients; Not a ton of management or leadership support because they are spread so thin; benefits aren't great (I've had better); company started to go the staff augmentation route and move away from the traditional technology and consulting firm; small amount of promotional opportunities
