Below average pay. Average benefits package. No flexible working or annualised hours. Poor quality work for a top firm. The worst thing about working here was the atmosphere. This all stemmed from the top and in particular the office partner who would send horrible emails, was unapproachable and very unreasonable when interacting with you. The entire atmosphere in the office was downbeat with a blame atmosphere and many people wanted to move on when I worked here. It was very outdated and bureaucratic and therefore hard to get anything done to budget. Junior staff were given little or no support in office and unrealistic budgets were set to meet the company recovery policy.

If you want to join in Internal Audit field and audit field is your passion, I suggest please do not join this surat RSM firm. I have worked here for 1.5 years and I felt that I have made mistake to join this firm. No Quality work, No different types of audit scope in internal audit. They have no IFC audit, no Sox compliance audit etc. I have seen no actual risk advisory concept followed. Do not go by brand name. It is managing like as a properitor firm. No proper time will given to you to complete assignments and reports. Even their HR policy is against employees. If you will resign then they will hold your all salary up to full notice period of 2.5 months. You have to beg for some salary. They have policy of retain total Rs.25000 from your first 2 salary. If you will not complete minimum 2 years in RSM, then they will not give you back this amount. So ultimately you will get low salary compare to your CTC.
