      Pros

      People were friendly, management was easygoing. Once-a-month In n Out Truck was also a plus!

      Cons

      There weren't many cons, though apparently there were layoffs shortly after I left. Probably due to changes in management.

      Pros

      Free lunch is nice. The location (Shinagawa seaside) is very convenient. Salary standard is relatively high. Depending on the division you will belong to, they have pretty nice automated testing environment.

      Cons

      For younger engineers, I can't recommend Rakuten. Because their education system is pretty unorganized. If you have just graduated from a university, and would become an excellent programmer, Rakuten isn't the best choice.
