Pros
- stable employment conditions - acceptable salaries though not astonishing - family friendly work time models
Cons
- arrogant and/or incompetent top management, very hierarchical top down decision making mostly from German HQ without consulting experts or any reasonable explanations to employees - talking a lot about values (such as trust, reliability), but not respecting them except towards large customers in order to secure future profits - talking a lot about being innovative and new business fields, but not really competitive with top high-tec companies neither In terms of average staff competencies nor research spending on disruptive future technologies - many "successful innovations" are technology-wise more or less just copies of what others did years ago with an added smartphone interface - the few top researchers are repelled by unstable innovation conditions, completely unreasonable requests and expectations (e.g. regarding required development times and Bosch's alleged "superiority" over competitors) and micro-management by clueless executives - recruiting employees for special tasks on the premise of career advantages and letting them down after they served their purpose
