Pros

You get to learn a lot about the pipelines needed to make a game like GTA work. Seeing the cutting-edge tech being developed right in front of you opens up avenues of information and thought processes that you would have never encountered anywhere else tbh. Benefits, work-life balance, and the food served to the employees are decent and appreciated.

Cons

Extremely uncompetitive salary, which the higher-ups justify with the availability of the "benefits". Growth has more or less stagnated due to the saturation of the teams. Politics is evident, but the toxicness is not department-wide. Certain managers lack the humanity to acknowledge their shortcomings and play the blame game, which just destroys team morale in the long run. There's room to improve, and I hope it does because this is ultimately a good place to work in but is being marred by a few incompetent people and a sorry excuse for a salary.

Pros

Working with cool like-minded people on the industries best titles. Great office environment and really good perks and benefits even for junior staff.

Cons

None that I experienced. QA generally is a lower paid entry level role.
