      It's a great place to work with not so great leadership

      Pros

      Amazing benefits, amazing infrastructure, a lot of opportunities for self development and to get to know different areas within the company.

      Cons

      Senior leadership and depending on the team, direct managers doesn't really listen to you. They don't give any chances to try some processes improvements even though the whole team insists on it. They want only short term solutions and after a week, the same issue will be facing us again and they will say "hey team, what we can do about it?" and we suggest a good long term solution, which is ignored again and this cycle never ends. Also, support has a poor work/life balance. I need to work extra hours a lot of days to be able to handle all of our backlog. Not because I'm not productive, but because the backlog is huge and the direct management doesn't listen to our suggestions to improve it. The incoming is not under our control, but how we handle it is. And they seem to ignore this fact.

      Good company, with a few reservations

      Pros

      - The salary benefits are great. - The building is very technologic, - We have flexible working hours and good home office policy. - Many trainings are offered to all employees.

      Cons

      - Not as diverse as it intends to be. In enterviws, behaviors are not the top priorities, which leads to people, who are not diversity supportive, being hired, which does not help in internal environment in real life. SAP as a company supports and is againts any kind of discrimication, but the employees, many times, do not fully agree with these policies, or think they are not that important, and end up causing embarissing situations. There are only a few areas where this is not true. - For support, the worklife balance is a bit complicated due to the working hours which are diffent for each day of the week.
